On July 8th, we launched the Emergency Pursuit of Justice Fund—a movement to raise $1,000,000 to fight back, rebuild, and ensure our work continues long after our lawsuit against the Department of Justice is resolved.
We know it will be hard to exactly recreate these programs without federal support, but over the past two months, we have developed a plan to continue to provide these services to pursue justice. You can join this movement.
As a result of Jon and Bobbe Bridge’s unwavering commitment to CCYJ, all gifts will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $500,000 through October 31st.
This Pursuit of Justice fund will directly support three critical functions to prevent community violence:
– Restart funding for BIPOC grassroots and community organizations doing essential frontline work
– Provide state-wide coordination that breaks down silos between the public and private sectors to create collaboration and community for system-impacted youth
– Support youth and families with emergency funds for housing, food, and educational resources
We are not in this fight alone. We stand shoulder to shoulder with 276 other organizations whose communities also lost critical support for violence prevention. Every gift brings us closer to justice—for our youth, our neighborhoods, and the nation.
The stakes are high. The moment is now. Your donation—matched dollar-for-dollar—will help us protect what matters most: the safety and well-being of our communities and young people.
