CCYJ CEO & President Named to State-Wide Committee for teen helpline:
Rachel Sottile, CCYJ CEO and President, is honored to be joining the advisory committee for HearMeWA.
HearMeWA is a 24-hour helpline for Washington’s youth, connecting them to support for mental health, bullying, anxiety, and more. It can be accessed through phone, text, web, or the HearMe app.
The helpline was developed by the Washington State Attorney General’s Office and co-designed with the young people it serves.
As a member of the steering committee, Rachel advises the AGO’s office to support youth and strengthen community responses to safety concerns. This includes helping raise awareness of the helpline among youth and youth-serving organizations, reviewing emerging trends in submissions, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing strategies to increase effectiveness of HearMeWA.
“Serving on the HereMeWA Advisory Committee reminds me that our greatest responsibility is not simply to advocate for young people, but to listen to them, learn from them, and ensure their voices help shape the future we are building together.” – Rachel Sottile, President & CEO
