On August 12th, CCYJ and CEO Rachel Sottile were presented with a 2025 Champions of Justice Award from Rep. Adam Smith.

This award honors individuals who have made significant contributions to Washington’s 9th Congressional District community and have shown tremendous resilience in the face of federal uncertainty.

All of us at CCYJ are grateful for Rep. Adam Smith and his staff’s incredible support in taking a stand on behalf of our local Community Violence Intervention partners here in Washington and across the country.
